The rabbitry part of our farmette is a small ARBA-registered rabbitry specializing in
Pedigreed and Purebred Pet Holland Lop and Teddywidders.
Holland Lops are the smallest of the Lop-eared breeds.
Hollands average 2.5-3.5 lbs.
European Teddywidders and American Teddywidders (2.5-4.0lbs)​​​
A big question from many new pet owners: Buck or Doe? ​
Typically, Bucks make better pets as they tend to show more affection and bond better with their human and can be less hormonal personality-wise as they age. If you are looking for two bonded bun,s then two Does or a Buck and Doe combination are the best choice. Of course, if you don't want kits, you would need to alter the buck and/or doe. When you fix your bunnies then you avoid all the hormones altogether.
I do not recommend housing two unaltered Bucks together. Please see my tab on Bonding for more information and links.​
