Hello and Thank you for considering a Springhouse Farm in TN for your new family addition!!
We are a small ARBA "closed" family rabbitry that strives to breed quality rabbits for loving pet homes.

I hesitate giving kits names because I don't want new bunny parents to think they cannot personally name their bunny.... but I hate giving animals numbers more! Please feel free to ask to change a bunny's name!!

To reserve a bunny just send me a message telling me which bunny you would like and any questions you have. If you decide it is the right fit for you then you need to send a 50% non-refundable deposit via Paypal "Friends and Family" or Venmo. (See QR codes below) Due to the influx of scammers some new owners are hesitant to send via Friends and Family due to this concern. If that is the case you can send through "Goods and Services" but you must add on the amount that will be taken out on my end. I do accept cash on occasion if pickup is within 24 hours.

To have a bunny held a deposit must be made. The remaining balance is due at pickup. The only reason I refund a deposit is if something were to happen to the bunny while in my care. If transporting a rabbit payment in full is required 24 hours before the rabbit is placed on transport.

Rabbits/Bunnies come with their pedigree unless I specify they do not have one.

Once arrangements have been made for pickup, PLEASE be on time! I understand if there is traffic issues etc., just please message me if running late. I am fairly flexible with meetup times/days. If you need to reschedule pickup time (life happens!), you must contact me before the meeting time. Otherwise, I will consider that you no longer want the bunny and put it back up for adoption.

For the health and well-being of my rabbits (and family) I run a small-scale “closed” rabbitry. This protects the health and safety of my family and rabbits. I will meet you at an agreed-upon location and time with your bunny. I only meet in public places for pickup of your new family addition, typically, at the Walmart/Tractor Supply nearby or a location off the interstate for longer distances. This keeps my herd safe as well as provides a safe environment for us people to meet!

-
I typically only meet locally for meetups but will consider traveling farther distances for a delivery fee based on distance or if I have engagements in a nearby city. Inquire for transport fee for longer distances. For longer-distance transporter arrangements are at the buyer's discretion but I will be happy to recommend some quality transporters. (see TRANSPORT page for links) I do retain the right to refuse a transporter I am not comfortable with. If waiting on a transporter more than 3 weeks then a care and board fee of $25/week may be applied.

The bunnies grown in my rabbitry are healthy to the best of my knowledge. Once it goes into your care we are no longer held responsible for its well-being. Once a rabbit leaves my care I cannot make a health guarantee as rabbits are sensitive animals and I am not responsible for buyer care, handling, and health of the animal. I am not responsible for any veterinary fees incurred at any point during the life of the animal but please contact me with any concerns. I am always here to help. I cannot guarantee health, show placings, weight, fertility, how well a rabbit will produce, or temperament. I will however communicate with you on these these things honestly through my observations and parental information.

I do offer lifetime support so please feel free to contact me with any questions.

-
The gender of my bunnies is checked regularly starting at birth by just observing and again physically at about 4-5 weeks depending on the bunny, and weekly thereafter. I am confident of gender at the time of purchase… but with younger rabbits, there is no 100% guarantee.

All bunnies will come with a bag of "transition" food in case you decide to use feed other than what I use. I feed Manna Pro 16% (red bag). It is available at most feed stores. Please feel free to transition your bunny to another quality feed. I feed only Timothy hay for various reasons. If you integrate Alfalfa please do so gradually to avoid gastric issues. (See my bunny information page for more details on feeding.)

-
Please let me know if you are ever unable to care for one of the bunnies you get from me. There will be no questions asked. Life happens and I understand that. In some instances, I can take them back into my care or I will do my best to help you to rehome them.
